Wait, Please Wait for the Food!

Now that the craziness of Christmas and New Year's Day have subsided, we are back to the world of manners, common sense and the lack thereof!  So what's today's topic going to touch on, well something that drives me bananas! Something most people should have learned as a kid, but maybe forgot with age? Anyway, it's time to retrain!

Have you ever hosted a party and while your guests are enjoying drinks and appetizers, one of the guests feels it's necessary to venture into the kitchen and start munching on the actual dinner!!!?  How rude! Seriously, people! You can't wait until dinner is served? The appetizers aren't sufficient enough for you? They should hold over over until dinner!

Not only is this extremely rude, but it will make the host/hostess boil inside! Don't set your host on fire, that might be the end of a nice evening.  Never serve yourself, unless the host/hostess makes a point of telling you to do so!

Sauce of Life Tips:

As a guest, don't over-step your bounds.

Wait for the host/hostess to serve the food.  Don't worry, they're in control of it all!

If you're going to sneak some food, don't make it obvious!  (Not that we are telling you to do this...)

Enjoy the party, mingle with friends, have an amazing glass of wine but never ever annoy the host/hostess.  You may have to feel their wrath!
